McKenna, Megan Keepers of the Story * * (Written with Tony Cowan) The two books on Lent combine to walk you through the forty days of Lent and Holy Week, with stories and reflections for all three liturgical cycles. Not Counting Women and Children: Neglected Stories from the Bible Parables Megan McKennas’s books are written from a social justice perspective and deal with scripture stories in a narrative fashion. The books with * are packed with stories. The other books have occasional stories interspersed with reflections from her comprehensive study of scripture. All of her books are published by Orbis.
